Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Deanna Risos has devoted her life to learning the necessary skills to become an expert in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She has completed the Cosmetic/Aesthetic continuum of courses at UCLA School of Dentistry as well as courses in occlusal equilibrium and cosmetic digital imaging. Dr. Risos also trained in Endodontics with Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan, one of the leaders and innovators in this field of dentistry.

She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego Dental Society. Dr. Risos also regularly travels with the staff to conventions and seminars to acquire more training to help keep her and her practice up to date on both technology and procedures.
