I started seeing Dr. Nisha awhile ago due to some pretty traumatic dental issues I was undergoing. I had broken/cracked - and was continuing to break/crack - several teeth and was undergoing years of painful, expensive, and lengthy extractions and implants. Dr. Nisha was the first dentist in my three decades of annual exams with dentists to suggest a treatment plan that was not just fixing after the fact, but was looking at preventative care so I wouldn't keep undergoing the same ugly break-extract-implant-crown cycle that I was in danger of getting sucked into.
After looking at my teeth and hearing my history, she helped me formulate a comprehensive go-forward plan - and this was after I was only in there for a routine cleaning! She created study molds of my mouth and determined my bite was off by only a few millimeters; however that mere fraction of being "off" meant I was hitting hard on areas of my teeth that were then fracturing beyond repair. Dr. Nisha was able to then adjust my bite so I was no longer hitting on the same vulnerable areas repeatedly, thereby decreasing my risk of continuing to fracture my teeth. She also recommended a periodontist for the extractions and implants I needed (and still need), and works with that office to coordinate information and next steps. I can't say how relieving it is to have that burden taken off my shoulders and know that the right hand is aware of what the left hand is doing when it comes to my mouth.
I am continuing to work with Dr. Nisha as my implants are finalized and we move forward with permanent crowns. I've had one done thus far, and it's been absolutely issue-free - and you can't even tell which one it is! (I've actually forgotten which tooth is a crown, to be perfectly honest.)
Again, I've seen dentists twice a year every year for three decades (and had a stint with an orthodontist when I was much younger), and have spent the last decade visiting not only dentists, but also many periodontists, and Dr. Nisha is the only one who has recommended these steps or taken into consideration a holistic plan to prevent this from happening in the future vs. patching me up after the fact.
In addition, all of my procedures are costing a very pretty penny (thanks U.S. dental insurance!), and Aesthetic Dentistry was willing to work with me on a payment plan that made sense, which was super helpful.
I've learned this throughout my dental process: dental surgery, extractions, and the accompanying work can not only be physically and financially draining, but emotionally too. Aesthetic Dentistry really made me feel like I had a team on my side with my best interests at heart to guide me through a complex, confusing and oftentimes frightening experience with a personalized plan unique to my situation.
For anyone going through the same kind of dental experience as I have been (and am), a.) I empathize strongly with you, and b.) I cannot recommend enough getting into Dr. Nisha asap.

This is where to go when you want the best.
Cosmetic dentistry is daunting. For a lot of people, including myself, it's about how much you need to pay to get the results you want. The challenge with choosing a new dental practice is that it's hard to tell if you're going to get what you want without getting ripped off.
My review of Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley is based on my own experience getting a crown for an implant on my front incisor--the one on the top, in the very front, that everyone sees every time I open my mouth. I did a lot of research, and sought the recommendations of a few dentists and friends that I trust, and I ended up here. After a thorough and honest discussion with Dr. Krishnaiah, I entrusted this very challenging work to her and her staff. The result is exactly what I wanted. Period. Most days, I don't think about the fact that I have a fake tooth in the front of my mouth. Sometimes, I even forget which of the two front teeth it is. Nobody has a clue unless I tell them. It's that good.
The point is that you can trust Dr. Krishnaiah, her staff, and their business partners to get the job done right, however complex and challenging a procedure it is. They will work tirelessly to make sure that the quality of work is up to Dr. Krishnaiah's standards, which in my case, were even higher than mine. You want someone who knows what they're doing looking out for your best interests. That's what I found here.
Yes, you can get work done cheaper. And the result will be cheaper work. It reminds me of a quote by John Ruskin: "There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell for a little less, and those who consider price alone are that man's lawful prey."
Ultimately, only you can decide whether something is worth it. But if you value quality, and you want your work done right, by people with the highest standards, I strongly recommend Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley.

Hello, my name is Ron Contreraz. I recently relocated to San Francisco from Colorado. I am a Colorado Native (48yrs) and this is my first time living in another state. Dealing with flights, movers, getting settled in, etc., the last thing on my mind was dentistry work. I had a severe toothache and I needed help. I googled dentists within my new vicinity and came across Aesthetic Dentistry of Noe Valley. The positive google reviews from patients and especially parents of patients is what led me there. First off, you're greeted by an awesome support staff, who made you feel welcome, then I met the Doctor. Dr. Nisha was kind, cordial, and as a patient, she just made you feel as a "priority". You and your dental health became a priority. First off the bat, I needed a root canal (findings were a few cavities, potential crown work, and heavy cleaning needed also), but root canal was the priority. I had the root canal performed by the referred endodontist, then went back to Aesthetic for a crown. First time ever for both procedures. While performing the crowning, Dr. Nisha observed an opportunity to perform a cavity filling based on it's location near the tooth being crowned. An observation that saved time, and ended a lot of oral pain. I got to observe the "3D" imagery of crown being mapped/created and got to observe the machine that grinds/creates the crown based on imagery. Mind blowing, completely fascinated me! And seeing the sheer excitement on Dr. Nisha's face while she explained the process, I knew I was dealing with a fellow human being who simply loves (and with the utmost integrity and pride) the profession she has chosen. Dr. Nisha is a total Rock Star! Things have been going great in the weeks after the crowning. Along with Dr. Nisha, we set up an action plan for the remaining work based on priority. Earlier this week, surprisingly, the crown popped off while I was chewing on a snack. In less than 24hrs of contacting them, I was seen again this morning. Dr. Nisha and Staff were very apologetic, with some head scratching concern, but once again made the repair a priority. As a paying customer/patient in regards to the crown popping off, even I knew from the get go, it wasn't because of poor craftsmanship and/or lack of knowledge. It's just one of those mysterious things in life that just happens. I just knew, with the care I have been provided prior, that they would take good care of me. I was excited this morning to get there!
Just like so many people, I've been seen by dentists since childhood. Dentists, orthodontists, etc. I've never liked dentists, orthodontists, and I am sure I told Dr. Nisha and the endodontist who performed the root canal that "I respect what you do, but I don't like you" upon first meeting them while drying tears. I was scared by dentists, I feared them. For the first time in my life (48yrs young), I no longer fear or are afraid. Someone took the time to explain, to info share, to reassure, to nurture, to truly care. That someone is Dr. Nisha, the Rock Star! I can't thank you enough, Dr. Nisha, I am truly grateful!
