Dr. k is seriously amazing. That's word doesn't even do her justice! We were looking for a specialist in handing tongue tied babies. We found her and drove all the way from Anaheim to see her. It was 100 percent worth it. She is so informative, leaving me with absolutely no confusion or questions about anything "tongue tie" related. She has such amazing energy, and was so great with our baby girl. We have just seen her for our last appointment, our baby girls 4 week check up, and the tongue and lip tie are both great! No more problems breastfeeding! No more pinching! I can continue breastfeeding my baby girl with no pain and that is worth the world to me! Highly recommend this place!

This place really sets the standard. They are so professional and unbelievably kind. I was a little nervous bringing my two year old in considering how much she despises the pediatrician. To my surprise, this was a completely different experience. Both the Dr & the nurses were extremely patient while they allowed my daughter to roam and get comfortable. They managed to brush her teeth and do a full check in probably under a minute or two. We will definitely be back. Actually, by the request of my toddler. She asked me if we were going again the following morning. :)

We moved here from out of state about a year ago and the thought of finding new doctors for my children (6 and 2) was extremely overwhelming. The second I met Dr. Khoury, I knew that our search for a dentist was over. We love her! She is warm, kind, funny, and amazing with kids. My daughters love going to the dentist because of her. The entire staff is fantastic. You can tell that everyone there truly cares about their patients and families. On a more personal note, I had trouble breastfeeding both of my girls. I went to several pediatricians and lactation consultants with no success and I was heartbroken. For years, I felt like a failure (even though I know that is ridiculous). One of the first things Dr. Khoury asked me at our initial appointment was if I had problems breastfeeding. I said yes and she showed me that both of my kids have tongue ties. She explained how this condition would make breastfeeding extremely difficult and that it wasn't my fault. So...I cried...at the dentist. Years of guilt just floated away. I couldn't believe that after seeing all of these different specialists, including two other pediatric dentists, no one had ever mentioned this to me. I can't thank her enough and I will never take my kids anywhere else.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dr. Khoury and her staff. I went and got a second opinion and they were more than willing to help me to do so. It showed me how confident they were in there assessment. Lo and behold, the second opinion came out exactly what Dr. Khoury recommended. Nonetheless, I chose to come back to the brush and complete the procedure with Dr. Khoury. Dr Johnson, the anesthesiologist, was awesome and so caring. Dr. Khoury did everything in her power to make sure my son was safe and healthy. So glad he's now feeling better with no discomfort. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend The Brush Stop for your child!

Cruz is the best! He was so patient with my son and made sure he was having fun through out the process by showing him the tools and X-ray pictures! My son left with a smile and tons of toys. Dr Khoury has the best team in town!

Love everything about this place! The waiting room, the nurse, the doctor, everything! They are both moms so they have an amazing amount of patience and are extremely kind. The office is 100% for the kids so there are toys, movies playing in the waiting area and while they do the dental work and they have yummy flavored tooth paste that they use as well. My 2 year old daughter didn't cry once during her cleaning/exam.

Dr. Khoury came highly recommended to me, so we sought her out as a second opinion for a cavity assessment. Thank goodness we did! We saved our 4 year old the unnecessary trauma of a filling and Dr. Khoury recommended a more conservative approach that was complete in less than 15 minutes. It feels good to know our pediatric dentist has our daughter's best interest at heart and not expensive procedures.

I recently had a baby, and was shocked to find out that my baby had both a tongue and a lip tie, both of which were interfering with breast feeding. I immediately contacted Dr. Jenna, and we scheduled a consultation with both a lactation consultant, and a laser release of both ties. Even as a dentist, I was beyond worried about having my newborn treated, but knew I was in good hands. I was so pleased with my entire experience in her office- the staff was so professional and helpful, and they helped keep me at ease while the procedure was done. Dr. Jenna has such a soothing presence and touch. She also explained the procedure well to my husband. All of the follow up visits were also wonderful. I highly recommend her office, and will definitely also refer all tongue and lip ties her way from now on!

I took my daughter in today for her first dental visit and it was such a great experience. This place looks so fun, I wish I could be seen here! Not only was everyone so nice, but they made my daughter feel so comfortable! She went from being a little nervous about her first time to saying "I wish I could come here everyday!" It made me feel so good as a mom to hear her say that, because I know I made a great decision. Dr. Khoury was so kind to us, and took her time explaining everything to me. I'm glad I found this new gem!

Friendly office staff and Dr. K is wonderful!! :) I came to The Brush Stop for the first time and I have to agree with the other review here, she is by far the best pediatric dentist in all of San Diego. She has a way with kids that I've never seen before. My fearful two year old left the office smiling and very happy. It was an all around excellent experience!

We saw Dr. Khoury for my newborn 1 week olds tongue and lip tie. Our experience was amazing! Dr. Khoury was so thorough and caring and explained every detail. Cassandra and Tiffany and the whole staff was so accommodating and helpful and made sure we felt absolutely supported and comfortable the day of the procedure. Our first child had a tongue and lip tie done a few years ago somewhere else and this was 100% better experience, so much calmer and less traumatic. I won't take my kids to anyone else. They also are so up to date on the latest research and have state of the art equipment to do the procedure. Great experience!

Dr. Khoury and her staff made, what we thought was going to be a super stressful experience, a pleasant one. Our kids had a great first dentist experience.

Took my nephew into Dr Khoury as a favor. Normally I don't normally post reviews, particularly since this isn't even my child, but the experience at The Brush Stop is something I just wanted to share. It occurred to me during this visit that child dental care brings some very unique challenges for the care provider, where the dentist has to take particular care to make a child AND the parents feel comfortable not only with prognosis but also treatment. This place did a phenomenal job of doing just that. I didn't really understand how much more positive of an experience it would be to have a pediatric specific care provider, but this really convinced me. The culture and staff are approachable, and the whole practice puts everyone at ease. Great job but all -- I highly recommend.

Dr. Khoury and her entire staff at The Brush Stop are PHENOMENAL. My son had major dental work that needed to be completed and after meeting with 4 other pediatric dentists, she was the ONLY ONE that I trusted. I live in Orange County but loved her so much that I decided she was worth the drive. Each and every person on her staff is kind, patient and so thorough at their job. The anesthesiologist they use (Dr. Johnson) is amazing as well. On the day of procedure everything went smoothly and the level of care that they provided to my son actually made me cry out of gratitude. Please do yourself a favor- go see Dr. Khoury! Her work is impeccable and I am so glad to have found her!!

First and foremost, I've lagged a bit in writing my review. Sometimes life gets in the way so I'm making sure I'm doing it before I forget. My initial visit (6-month's ago or so) with the Brush Stop came a week earlier then my scheduled appointment for my children. As crazy as life can get - I showed up one week early thinking that day was their actual appointment. Despite my error Dr. Khoury and her staff had no problem fitting us in while there. I would have kindly drove back home, but they made the time without me even asking, which at that moment truly showed their kindness. I know when I make a good decision for my children when they truly enjoy going. My 3 and 7 yr old love Dr. Khoury and her staff. Everyone and everything about the facility is warm and welcoming. I love that the facility is not made to look like a huge playground, but with enough color and touch to d�cor that the kid's enjoy their appointment. The out of pocket for services are within reason and Dr. Khoury nor her staff ever push any services if they aren't truly needed. Thankfully to date the only out of pocket needed were sealants on my sons molars which I would never say no too. Anything that helps prevent cavities I am all for it. I highly recommend The Brush Stop will continue to anyone looking for a dentist for their children.

are by far the most intelligent nicest kidest dentists i have ever been to or seen i have searched high and low from imperial beach up into oceanside i finally was recommend the brush stop by a friend of mine and at this point i was so done with dentists. i called to make an appointment and right off the bat i got the most kindest young woman on the phone "cassie " she was so helpful and went above and beyond to work with me and my schedule. appointment day came, can i please just say how amazing this location is in the center of everything and in such a beautiful complex! when i talked into the office i just looked arond and immediately smiled the office is so amazing perfect for kids to feel comfortable and relaxed.. parents we all know how kids are at the dentists i can assure you your kids will feel like its going to to recess at this dentists office so fun for kids and decorated so cute! cruz there dental assist was amazing with the kids. knew just was to do to make the kids feel comfortable! overall the staff is amazing so helpful kind and amazing! do not let the negative reviews fool you!!! thank you brush stop you restored my confidence in dentists!!!

The Dentist and staff were professional and extremely professional. My girls loved their visit and can't wait to go back! The atmosphere is very child-centered, and would be comfortable to even the most skittish patient. I wish they did adult dentistry also!!

We wanted to share our great experience at The Brush stop. I have a seven-year-old son and he has always been scared of going to the dentist. I was referred by several other moms in the area to check out The Brush Stop and I'm so glad that I listened. The office is located in Carlsbad which is about a 30 minute drive for me but the drive is so worth it. From the moment I called their office, I knew I called the right place. Cassandra at the front desk was so helpful to answer all of my questions. When we walked through the door for the first time I could see my son get so excited. He loved all the beautiful decor and all of the cool skateboards in the office. Dr. Khoury is so kind and friendly. I can't say enough about how amazing she is with children. My son had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

We have had such a great experience at The Brush Stop! We just had my 4.5 year old's second cleaning and exam here, and I kid you not, he's begging to go back. The office itself checks all the boxes - it's sparkling new and super clean, decorated in a very fun and thoughtful way, with a really cool waiting area full of activities for the kids. When you get called back, there's a parents bench area within view and also little stools that you can pull up to your child's chair if needed. Tiffany is our hygienist and she's the sweetest! Her warm personality immediately put my son at ease, and he was beyond thrilled to be able to watch a movie on the ceiling (complete with headphones) during his cleaning. Love that they diffuse essential oils to help calm nerves and that they make the environment so fun and engaging for the kids. My kiddo can't wait to go for his next cleaning, and that says it all. Dr. Khoury is incredibly sweet and great with kids. We haven't had any dental problems, so haven't gotten to work with her extensively, but I trust her completely and look forward to her being our dentist for many years. Honestly, this place is a gem and I am so glad we found it. If you're looking for a great, no-hassle dental experience for your kids, look no further!
