The most painless visit to the dentist office that I've ever experienced. He didn't push me into spending money on a procedure and even though my insurance was ending, he offered to see me for a follow up without charge. I recommended my mom to this place because previously our other dentist was super rude and ended up giving me the most painful filling of my life without pain medication. Now my parents are both planning on switching over to this dental office. The office itself is very clean, modern, and professional. The girl at the front desk is super helpful and polite in scheduling appointments as well. Being that I'm so used to going to the same dentist that my parents pick (usually Korean), I'm happy to have found a dentist that I can actually communicate with in English and actually feel comfortable with working on my teeth.

So glad I found Dr. Yu., sad I didn't find him sooner! I had a crown placed by another dentist who dropped it down my throat! Beside the fact that the crown was not good quality. I came right away to Dr. Yu, he spent the time reassuring me talking me through the ordeal. He squeezed me in for an appointment and re-did my crown. His office staff are very pleasant and understanding. I highly recommend coming to see Dr. Yu for any routine work or otherwise.

Add to the numerous excellent reviews he has. The only issue is the fact that he is so busy. I would be willing to wait for him though.

So happy to have found a great dentist who is local to me. We trust and appreciate his knowledge and experience. We have had only positive experiences with our thorough cleanings and feel that he and his staff really care about their patients.

Have been to Dr Sean for 3 years and the service has been very consistent. Very prompt to the appointment and respect patient's time. Dr Sean and Dr Lee is very attentive to the patient and gentle with the work. They also have good assistant like Marney who make me comfortable through the process. Their front desk personnel are courteous and i always received a big smile in my visit. Also they keep their dental office, clean, hygiene and surrounding the ambient with nice music to keep you entertained and to me, the music help to calm. Have been to 5 to 6 dental office so far and Dr Sean office did what a dental office should be. I feel safe to have my family at their care.

Our family visits this Dental office at least every 4 months for cleaning . We are still planning on visiting Sean Yu's dental office after our move to Corona CA . Every single staff member here is very professional and caring they know how to treat their customers . Sean Yu even recommended to work with Dean Azzeh for our family's Orthodontics needs and we are thankful for him for this referral . Yes they are always busy so please call and schedule a month before your dental needs appointment . Also the cool thing is that Sean Yu knows Victor Tsoi which impressed me on our first visit .

I found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out . I scheduled my appointment without any problem with Angel for the cleaning and received most painless dental experience in my life . I also received a good reference to orthodontist that I'm using now and very happy about it . I do recommend this dental office for all your dental needs and I can tell that I'm going to be back . Was fortunate enough to find Dr. Yu in my search for a dentist. He's very professional, caring, meticulous and extremely skilled and passionate about his craft. He's open and honest with the patients and goes out of his way for them (he cleaned my retainers for free). He won't upsell you on procedures you don't need in an attempt to scam you for more money. The staff is also great and making an appointment is easy. Dr. Lee embodies all the qualities that make Dr. Yu great and together they form a great team and I trust both of them with my dental care. Each visit is gentle and pain free and whomever I get for the cleaning, they take their time and do a thorough and comprehensive job. The office is very modern and well kept and the chairs are super plush and comfortable. It's scary to say this, but I actually like going to the dentist now and look forward to getting my teeth cleaned and I'm motivated to keep my pearly whites as clean as possible. It's no surprise that he's consistently rated as one of the top dentists in Orange County. I highly recommend both Dr. Yu and Dr. Lee for all your dental needs!

I cannot be any happier and thankful that I finally found a dentist that I completely trust. I have been going to him for the past 3+ years and he always delivers above my expectations. The most remarkable experience is for the permanent fix of the two crowns that I had to get redone over and over again when I was as my previous dentist from TX. He explains the whole procedure so that you are left with no questions and also provides a very thorough examination when you go for your regular check-up and follow-up. It is hard to express how much I appreciate this man as all the great experiences are continuously being added incrementally (which is the reason why it took me so long to write a review when I want the world to have the same great care as I am getting). I will always go see Dr. Sean Yu as long as I can!

I came here on a Monday, around lunchtime, to get my annual cleaning and checkup. Dr. Yu and his staff are exceptional. They made me feel comfortable during my visit, which made the experience of visiting the dentist that much better. I would highly recommend.

Having a great time with my kids and friends at Disneyland when 2 of my veneers popped off! ANOTHER dental drama while on vacation! My aunt referred me to Dr. Yu and his office definitely deserves 5 stars! From the front office down to Dr. Yu...I was blown away. Fortunately, I was super lucky to get an appointment ASAP!! The office is clean and the staff are friendly. I was greeted by a friendly face...sorry can't remember her name. I was also impressed with how mindful of my time Dr. Yu's staff was. They made me feel like my time mattered to them, even thou they were doing me a favor by squeezing me in that day! Dr. Yu is awesome! He's super friendly and was super patient with me. He never made me feel rushed when I asked my millionth question. He fixed my veneers and I felt that he was so gentle! I can see why my aunt chose Dr. Yu's office as her dentist!!!!!!

Dr. Yu and his team are great! From scheduling to the exam to the cleaning! There is a reason he's so busy and it's just because he's so trustworthy and compassionate about what he does. He's definitely not out there to get your money. His office is clean and orderly and his staff is very professional. I got a cleaning from Sarah and she did a great job! No pain at all and my teeth felt great. I got examined by both Dr. Wang and Dr. Yu just to make sure everything was ok. They are both conservative in their treatments so you can trust them. I have been here twice now so I decided that it's about time for a review. After moving here about two years ago, I had been on the hunt for a dentist. At one point I was driving over an hour to my dentist where I lived previously. That really was too far considering I work the same schedule that they were open. I had also tried out recommendations from friends but wasn't happy with them. I am one of those weird people that love going to the dentist but I am also very picky. Being scammed by several dentists before, I really value honesty. With other dentists I had tried out in area I always felt that there was something a little off. Now, I know with dentists everyone has their own opinions based on their experiences so it's really hard to always have an accurate rating here on Yelp but I'm so glad I trusted it and found Dr Yu! They really take their time and make sure your teeth are cleaned well and are super gentle! I felt comfortable and not on the edge at I was going to get ripped off. I'm so glad to finally find a dentist in the area! They are super booked so you might need to book 2-3 months in advance.

I found Doctor Yu through yelp after relocating to Irvine and needing to find a new dentist. I was originally hesitant as in the past I've had bad experiences of dentists trying to rip me off by always telling me there was something that needed fixing. I love the staff here as they are all so friendly and professional. Dr. Yu was very friendly and gave expert advice on what should be done next. I do have to go back for a filling, but after not going to a dentist for a year post getting my wisdom teeth pulled out, I figured I'd have to get something done. Dr. Yu clearly stated what could be potential issues in the future, but didn't need fixing right now, which is completely different from how my past dentist was (always saying i needed to fix several things every visit). Overall would definitely recommend! Tip: make sure you plan to make your appointment way ahead of time, as he gets booked up pretty fast. For my first cleaning I had to book about a month in advance!

Dr. Sean Yu is as good as they come! Him and his entire staff are really professional, and he never pushes treatments that you don't need. He is very honest, upfront, and conservative... so basically, he will do what's necessary to get you treated, but won't get too crazy with his recommendations. When we come for dental cleanings, we leave with a goody bag of toothbrushes and floss too. Because he is so popular and well-liked, it can be hard to get appointments, and I usually have to get scheduled out months in advance. However, for emergencies... like one time I bit down too hard on a chicken bone and my tooth chipped, I was able to come in that very day and get the whole thing taken care of within the hour. We really couldn't be happier with Dr. Yu as our dentist - he is the best!

I had a feeling my dentist was overcharging a few months back. I've had VERY FEW cavities in my life, TWO before becoming Dr.C's client and then last year I required four fillings. Well, somehome a couple visits later, five more fillings needed to be addressed. I looked down at a huge projected bill and felt uneasy. I put said cavaties on the back burner because our family has a lot of congenital medical expenses that are obviously more important. Last week, I decided time to "woman up" and deal with these cavaties. Just got home and here is why I give Dr. Yu five stars: He took a look at my x-rays and and then came around to meet me, and asked, "your former dentist said you had cavities?" I responded, "yes." He said, "no." He looked back at the X-rays and examined my mouth. He put his tools down, looked at me and said, you have some minor decalcification, which you should just use a good toothpaste and floss. Do you floss?" And I said no and mentioned that I read about flossing being worthless and he responded, "Bad report based on false data. The New York Times. I'd rather a patient floss every day than visit me twice a year. I've had patients come diligently and neglect flossing and their dental health is bad. I've had people avoid me for years and brush and floss and they're fine. You have no cavities. Floss your teeth." We examined my front teeth where I grind and he said it's still within healthy limits and we will bond later in life, but they are fine now. I've never seen such an HONEST, CONSERVATIVE doctor! My former doctor quoted my next visit at somewhere around $3458. Mind you, I am a single mom, with twin autistic sons. Not to play the violin, but cash is tight. I left today at $25.61. GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS! :)

WOW TEN STARSI was referred to Dr. Yu by an excellent endodontist (Fay Mansouri) and could not be happier with my experience. Dr. Yu was entirely professional, gentle with my teeth, transparent about his care plan and its costs, and reliably efficient. I felt at ease while he worked on my teeth because I could tell he and his assistant were experienced and confident in their process as well. In fact, everyone in the office was such a pleasure to interact with--professional, compassionate, honest, and helpful. Im very happy with the quality of Dr. Yu's work and his demeanor as a dentist. I'm so glad my search for a dentist is over because all these great reviews have proven to be trustworthy!! I'm definitely sending my whole family and any dentist-less friends in here too.
