Had a great visit to the dentist today! Kristi is amazing and such a wonderful, passionate hygienist who takes pride in educating her patients. Dr. Kennedy provided me with an excellent consultation and is really nice and down to earth. Carefully explaining everything. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alicia Kennedy is an excellent dentist and i cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr Kennedy has been my dentist for over 12 years. In that time she has done extensive corrective work for me after another dentist made mistakes with my restorations. The crowns replaced by Dr Kennedy have improved my smile immensely and have not given me any trouble in the past 12 years. Dr Kennedy has also problem solved several challenges in my mouth including cavities and a missing adult tooth and I cannot be happier with her work. I trust her completely and she is a total perfectionist in her work. Her office is relaxing and welcoming and Linda at the front desk is extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Kennedy has taken excellent care of my teeth, my smile and my comfort in the dental chair. If you are looking for the best then look no further.

As someone who is terribly phobic about having to sit in a dentist's chair, Dr. Kennedy does everything possible ensure one's comfort, from prescribing a Valium to blocking more time for your visit. Wonderful bedside manner aside, she is a gifted cosmetic dentist, a perfectionist whose work is outstanding. She utilizes all the latest equipment and technology. My crowns are works of art! She is a true professional as are Linda, the Manager, and the rest of the staff.

Dr. Kennedy and her staff were very nice and welcoming. They were professional and made me feel comfortable during the whole cleaning and x-ray process. I finally found a dentist who I can trust and that truly cares. What a relief! I highly recommend!

Dr. Kennedy is friendly and professional. The office has state of the art equipment to show patients exactly what the dentists and hygienists are doing, which allows for total transparency and efficiency. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental needs. They also have a great referral program.

A good dentist is hard to find! I've been seeing Dr. Kennedy for 4 years. She and her staff are so wonderful. I had a series of cavities that required partial crowns and inlays and with each one they made me feel as comfortable as possible with pillows and headphones to help distract from the drilling. Linda is a miracle worker with insurance and really appreciate how everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Kennedy always is genuinely happy to see me whether its been a year or 4 months. It's just great to have smart and personable doctor who cares for you.

She is the Best!

I was referred to Dr. Kennedy by a good friend and colleague after an unexpectedly traumatic visit to another dentist (I required hospitalization). Dr. Kennedy immediately put me at ease (which was not an easy task given how terrified I was of the dentist at that point) and she was so understanding of what I needed to recover from the trauma of my last experience. In the 5 years or so that I've been a patient here, I've always had a good experience. This is saying a lot because Dr. K has done a lot of work on my teeth, including a dental implant. Dr. Kennedy is caring, skilled, and a total sweetheart. I will not let another dentist touch my teeth. Upon my first visit, she suggested that I seek physical therapy for TMJ. I followed through and she was right. I really needed that extra help. Made a huge difference for me. She is holistic in her approach and I love it. Linda (front desk/office manager) is an absolute doll. She makes you feel like family (in the best way possible) the second you walk through the door, and I often stay and chat with her well after my appointment because she is just so personable. Right now, Dr. Kennedy has the absolute best hygienist (Christy/Kristy). She is hands down the best. Gentle, caring, efficient, and thorough. Cleanings used to scare me because I have extreme sensitivity due to gum recession, but I don't mind them at all with Christy. I was there for a cleaning today and it felt like a spa treatment! She fired up the massage chair for me, offered lavender oil on my temple and played soothing music during my cleaning. Seriously, I love this office. Thank you, Dr, Kennedy and team!

Dr. Kennedy is the kind of doctor you want treating your family. She is highly skilled, extremely thorough and very warm. Alicia makes herself available to clients when they are in need, regardless of the timing. I recently broke a crown on a holiday and Dr. Kennedy stopped what she was doing at her home, met me at her office, and performed a beautiful replacement. Her service saved me from a very uncomfortable holiday meal with the family! I could not ask more out of a dentist or doctor.

From TV screens to massage chairs, they do everything possible to keep patients comfortable. The office is easy to find, free parking underground and a beatific like view of La Jolla. My experience with Dr. Kennedy was quick and painless and because I was referred by a friend, she gave me a great deal. Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist, but I always look forward to seeing Dr. Kennedy.

I was referred to Dr. Kennedy from a friend that has been going to her for years and always been extremely happy with her. She, in fact, was also referred to Dr. Kennedy so I knew that with that kind of reputation I should go see her. I have lived my whole life fearing dentists. I always feel ashamed of my less than perfect teeth and due to my TMJ had anxiety over getting any dental work done. I have inquired with many dentists about cosmetic dentistry due to a bad crown on my front tooth as well as other issues. My first time meeting Dr Kennedy and her staff I knew instantly I had finally found a dentist that I not only trusted, but also liked! Everyone in that office is simply wonderful! I decided to have gum surgery as well as 6 veneers done. I was THIS confident in Dr. Kennedy. If anyone has had this type of work done, you know that it can be emotionally and physically time consuming. Each and every time I was in their office, I had a great experience, laughed much, and felt at ease. Dr. Kennedy is not only a perfectionist (which I LOVE about her) she is also caring. Many times she would hold my face lovingly while doing doing something that caused some discomfort. One day I was there and got to meet another patient of Dr. Kennedy who also had extensive cosmetic work done. I was able to see her final result which further gave me the confidence in my trust of Dr. kennedy. This woman and I have become friends by our meeting at Dr. Kennedy's office and both agree going to her was the best decision we have made! I have now committed to go to Dr. Kennedy to repair all of the mistakes and wrongs other dentists have done over the years to my teeth. It is a an arduous process but going into their office is always pleasant! Dr. Kennedy and her staff have become like family to me. They truly care! I trust Dr. Kennedy so much that I decided to take my 20 yr old daughter there. She was more terrified to go to dentists than I! She has been well taken care of there (no surprise) and we are thrilled to finally get her teeth done too (without "pulling teeth" to get her there - pun intended)! ! They have worked late to ensure I'm happy. Dr. Kennedy came in on a Sat at last minute because I had an abscessed tooth and was in pain. I had called her cell phone in pain, and she rushed to the office as soon as we hung up. I have never had a dentist so dedicated to their patients. They do it all with a smile, great sense of humor, kindness, and skill! I have nothing but glowing words for Dr. Kennedy and her staff. They have found a life long client in me and my family....and everyone I refer to her as well!

I have been going to dr. Kennedy for over 6 years, with the exception of one year when my employer provided a dental insurance that dr. Kennedy could not accept. It was a big mistake to go to anyone else! Dr. Kennedy is far the best dentist I have ever let touch my teeth and she and her team has done some amazing and complicated work for me. She is extremely thorough, patient and skillful. Goes the extra mile to check and explain everything and never wants to pressure you into work that is not urgent of doesn't need to be done, like I have seen with other doctors. Her prices are in line with other doctors' despite the La Jolla location. You will not understand the difference I am talking about until you go to see for yourself. So give her a call. I have been going to see Dr. Kennedy for over 10 years and she has always gone above and beyond to take care of my family and me. Dr. Kennedy and her staff are the absolute best - Linda at the front desk is like a second mother to me, always making sure I get in to my scheduled appointments. I truly feel like family here and am treated with care and concern. When I was doing my graduate program in Santa Barbara, I ended up with an excruciating tooth ache one afternoon. It was unbearable and Dr. Kennedy told me to get to her at 7am the next morning, before she even opened to take care of me. I ended up needing a root canal, but she cleaned my tooth and made the pain (that was at an 11+ at that point) bearable until I could see an endodontist later that day. Dr. Kennedy has always given me the best treatment-and for all of these years of care, I am forever grateful.
