So today was my 3rd visit to this office, before i describe my experience let me share the fact that i've been to way too many dentists to the point where i have quiet a good experience with different procedures, i've had alot of crowns, root canals, fillings... Just name it, anyway, the reception is very clean and comfy, the staff are decent, the first i time they did an xray and discussed all the treatments needed, they seemed pretty honest unlike most of the other dentists i've been to. I started my treatments , the doctor taking care of them is called Minh nguyen, when she gave me the anesthetic shot, i didnt even know she did, very smooth and right to the point, she did a great job on my 3 feelings and 2 crowns, even her humming during the procedure was very soothing.

Its my second time having dental work done at this office. Very professional and efficient. I'm glad I'm doing all my dental procedures with them.

I highly recommend this place to everyone that has any dental related issues. Dr Douglas Kim took care of me asap and made the whole wisdom tooth extraction painless as possible. The staff is very kind and caring for everyone and they have very good prices not to mention I was a walk in patient. Job well done will definitely coke back and refer everyone I know here

As a first time mom hearing about the horror stories of some dental practice places I was so scared to bring my daughter to any dentist. I did my research and found this place. The outside may be a little outdated but please don't make this turn you away. The inside is beautiful and the doctor is absolutely amazing. I felt beyond safe and will be bringing my daughter here from now on. Thank you First Dental Care for making this experience a great one for us.

I can't praise Dr. Douglas Kim enough!! My husband needs major dental work done and after seeing other dentists, we were referred to Dr. Kim by a close friend. Thank God because after our first consultation, my husband felt so comfortable and appreciated Dr. Kim's empathy, knowledge, and confidence. Dr. Kim even explained other options with such assurance...and we just felt at ease with his genuine concern. Today was day 1 of my husbands procedure and so far so good!! I'm most likely going to change denstis for my mom and son. It doesn't matter that we're driving from torrance.... You're in awesome hands with Dr. Kim and his staff!!! Thank you Dr. Kim!!!!

Dr. Kim saved me a bunch of money. My previous dentist I went to for a cleaning two weeks ago told me that I needed to get my filling redone on 3 molars and 1 root canal on a cracked tooth. Dr. Kim and his team told me my teeth were fine and that there's no crack. He also said that my previous dentist didn't even clean my teeth. Dr. Kim and his staff are outstanding. They actually care about a patients oral hygiene and aren't trying to make a quick buck off you.

I love this place. I've been coming here for years.The service is very quick you don't have to wait much.Ofelia did my regular cleaning, she's very friendly and does a good job

I still come here for my dental needs and they are great as always. I had gotten a crown here and my tooth gives me no issues and still looks great. I appreciate how they take the time to explain everything to you, I had a couple of questions and they thoroughly explained everything and told me what precautions to take ans such. They don't push anything either and let you take your time.

I was here for the first time recently and had a great experience. They were very flexible with scheduling even got me in within a day. The staff is great and very attentive. Ofelia was one of the staff that helped us out and she was Awesome!!! She has so much patience with my kids and explained everything to them and took her time with them as well...I will definitely come back for all the family. The Dr. was very sweet and also made my kids feel welcome. Thanks First care Dental !!!

Dentists really care. Dentist sings to my children to keep them calm. They do a great job and I'm grateful for there service.

So money-grerdy, even asked for a fee to get my xray, prices are already on the high end side, the $10 first time exam is only to get an expensive quote that people without insurance cannot afford.

What a wonderful clean dental office, filled with respectful educated staff! They really know what they're doing , and provide the best service. Dr Nyguen did my sons dental check up, she was really careful and nice. Also Tania explained my son check up results in such a wonderful way, iv learned a lot of her. Definitely returning to this location.

I'm pretty skeptical about dentists and doctors - changed many times. But a good friend of mine suggested this dental office. I was overdue on my annual checkup so I decided to go to First Dental Care from my home in Los Angeles. The office is pretty close to the freeway, so my commute was good. But when I got to the office, I was a bit surprised by the exterior of the office - I imagined that it'd be in a multi-storied commercial building. I started getting a little disappointed and getting skeptical again. However, when I stepped into the office, that went away. The office was pretty large and clean. And when I stepped into the patient chair, I felt even better with pretty modern equipments. Also, the staff was very helpful and made me and other patients in the office feel at ease while waiting. Overall, I was very satisfied. Dr. Kim and associates were extremely helpful, careful, and considerate. I've scheduled my next appointment and dental procedure with Dr. Kim - even with the distance from Los Angeles - and I recommend First Dental Care. Even for those you that are skeptical like me.

New patient reporting my experience... Pleased to say that I had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was very pleasant and attentive and Dr. Kim just seems like a very genuine and knowledgable guy. As someone who works in the dental field, Im very aware of how shady some dentists can be but I could tell that Dr. Kim only had the intent on doing what was best for me, as a patient, not what was best for his wallet, and trust me, that's rare. Not only that but he was very gentle and constantly made sure I was in no pain while getting the work I needed. This place is a gem and I recommend it for anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

The whole staff is so helpful! My siblings have been coming here for years and both my siblings got there braces treatment. My family is very satisfied with their work. Now I bring both of my kids here and I wouldn't trust another place. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Douglas Kim and Cristian were extremely warm, polite, helpful, and professional during my two wisdom tooth extractions. I did not feel a thing and any pain during the procedure, and Dr. Douglas Kim helped me to feel comfortable and took out the two wisdom tooth with ease. He made sure that throughout the procedure I wasn't in any pain and okay. The facility is clean and everything looked brand new as well, similar to a new dental office. Nice, clean office with very friendly staff! Had an appointment to take my wisdom teeth out, and I was nervous, despite being a dentist myself, but I couldn't have asked for a better outcome! He had all teeth out in no time, and I didn't feel anything. Shoutout to the hygienist Lee as well, her local anesthetic technique was top-notch, no pain. Looks like I found my new dentist.

My wife was recommended to first dental by a friend of ours and im soo glad she did. She had multiple things done from deep cleaning to mostly recently wisdome teeth extractions. My wife was sooo nervous but they reassured her that she would be ok. They talked to her through the whole process. 3 teeth out luckily only took about 30 minutes. felt no pain during it. Minimal pain and swelling next day. Once our daughter is old enough we def know where she is going. Amazing staff sweet,helpful, empathetic, and not greedy!. Places like this and people like dr douglas kim make going to the dentist a way better experience.
