Dr. Wong is a wizard. I'm a bit of a dental chicken, and I cannot say enough positive things about this man! His staff is fantastic, as well. Both receptionists are warm & sweet, and followed up with a full explanation of benefits/expected charges before I even saw him for the first time. He's friendly, bright, incredibly accommodating, and most importantly, an excellent dentist. I've never NOT felt a novocaine shot - but somehow, he manages to get it done without an ounce of pain or discomfort. Magical! I've gone to him for a few different procedures - general cleaning/exam, replacing an old leaky mercury filling, re-bonding my chipped front tooth - and I've been altogether pleased with each and every service. After years of dentist experiences that ranged from 'meh" to "GAH!", I'm so thrilled to have found Dr. Wong.

I hadn't gone to a dentist in more than 4 years. I came here because I looked up dentists on Yelp and I found this place. Like any place providing any service, you look for certain things. They had GREAT customer service. The staff was helpful and friendly. The office was very clean and nice. It was also quiet and calm. Dr. Wong was funny, friendly, straight forward and thorough when explaining things. They had affordable and fair pricing. I plan on getting more dental work done here very soon. I figure it's safe to say that this is my permanent DDS now in Los Angeles until/if something happens to make me feel differently. I don't think it will.

Dr. Wong is one of the best dentist I've ever had. He has a great , very helpful staff. Dr. Wong done huge cosmetic work for me and I could't be more happier. he is very attentive and thorough. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Dr. Wong for almost 20 years. His office is clean with great magazines and the staff are all super friendly. Dr. Wong is a perfectionist but his personality is really easy going and he's always smiling. My kid doesn't even mind going there.

I am so glad I decided to go to Dr. Wong! I just moved to Los Angeles and was in need of a new dentist, so upon reading others' Yelp reviews, I decided to go to this guy! All of the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I have never in my life felt comfortable at a dentist's office, but I felt very at ease here. I'm upset that I have so many cavities to be filled, but I'm not very anxious at all, knowing that I'll be in good hands. I even signed up for a Yelp account just to make this review!

Was looking for a dentist on Yelp and came across Dr. Wong's page. The reviews looked solid so I made an appointment. Over the course of the last several months I've gone in 3-4 times for cleanings/check ups. The staff here is extremely friendly, the office is impeccably clean (very important), and Dr. Wong is a really nice guy who's very easy to talk to. I've never had dental phobia, but even if I did this place makes it really easy to deal with.

Believe me, if I could give Dr. Wong 10 stars - in a heartbeat! I have been his patient since age 6. My first and ONLY general dentist. I'm 20 now. I haven't seen him in 3 years (yuck, I know) but after last month, it felt like walking down memory lane. DR. WONG, I hope you can read this: You are my favorite tooth wizard, baby. I can't express it enough on how much I love the office, staff, ethics, and overall work. I had a cleaning here not too far ago and the hygienist that gave me the prophylaxis (deep ultrasonic scaler cleanse) was extremely nice. When I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist burst out in excitement when she pulled out my patient record. Everybody here has watched me grow over time. I couldn't help but feel a sense of memorabilia rush through my blood when walking into the waiting room. Looked better than when I last visited. Sitting in the comfy chair, having the dental staff smile at me, and having the doctor ask me how I've been was all heartwarming. I love them all so much, if you were to go to any general dentist in Los Angeles, please look no further. One more thing, I am studying to be a dental assistant. Dr. Ellis Wong has been an inspiration since I was a wee lad. He's downright motivational and I suggest to anybody searching for a local LA dentist. He's the man to go to, and take it from me, a patient since 2000.

The staff here is absolutely amazing, Dr. Wong is as nice as can be and the place is just lovely to be in. The waiting area is nice and relaxing, there is even a wine fridge with various juices and waters for patients to help themselves to while waiting. I have to go to an oral surgeon for my issue, but I can't wait to come back and get a teeth cleaning here. How is this place so amazing that I can't wait to come back? That just doesn't happen. I'd like to add that my referral was to Dr. Lew and while I haven't been in, I can already tell that they are also an amazing office based off of the friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionist.

Best dentist EVER! Everyone is so nice in the office. I have been going for years. I lived in Texas for five years, and I would schedule my dentist appointments over my trips to LA to see my family so I didn't have to see anyone but Dr. Wong. He's the greatest!

I went for a crown and had no pain at all during or for cavities. Just make sure you know how to floss correctly. I wanted to give 5 star but I wasn't taught to floss the right way by either childhood or previous dentists. Yes including all. Dr Wong is great just got this plaque issue now. Wish they taught me that instead of aggressive flossing.

good dentist. nice work. nice receptionists though they always seem to "have a lot going on" when I call or show up lol. 4 stars for the ambiance and quality of dentistry. HOWEVER if you are in need specifically of a root canal, PLEASE KNOW they don't do them. they will recommend you to a dentist they "partner with" that wants you to pay for the whole amount of the procedure up front, and then be reimbursed by your insurance. Seems like a HASSLE since there are plenty of great dentists offices who will do all of the procedures (instead of "referring" you) & that will accept your insurance up front.

Dr. Wong is the BEST dentist that I've had. His entire staff is extremely friendly and also do a great job. If anyone is looking for a dentist in Los Angles, go to him! Highly recommended! The downside to not living in Los Angeles anymore is not being able to see Dr. Wong anymore!!

Easily the best dental experience I've ever had. Very friendly and courteous. Dr. Wong has been working with me to repair sone of the shotty dental work I've received at other offices. They really put in an effort to work with your phobias,insurance and finances.

Amazing! I didn't need much from Dr Wong I went in for a cleaning. He was so fun and kind and made me feel very comfortable. The hygienist was so good and her work was amazing my teeth feel great. I haven't had a cleaning in over a year and her now they look and feel great. Everyone was super knowledge :) The customer service all around was incredible. Front desk ladies were so sweet and helpful patient and kind. She helped me with my insurance and took time to e mail me back. Had a really great experience I am so happy to have found this place.

I spent months saving and researching the best dentist for veneers. I went to a few different consults before deciding to go with Dr. Maddahi in Beverly Hills. I was promised 10 perfect veneers in just 2 visits. Wrong. I must have went back 8 times and each time I had to be re-numbed, drilled on, and missed work. Each set had something wrong, (2 teeth had air bubbles in them, 1 was off color, and a few were crooked/ too big.) I started to panic because I could see that the veneers were not getting closer to what I wanted but further away.. I looked like I had dentures!!! At my wits end I met Dr. Wong through one of his friends. (who had perfect teeth) .. As soon as I walked into his clinic, his staff made me feel like family. They were so warm and genuinely friendly (not fake friendly!!) and really do care. I was so shaken by all the pain I went through and was scared of the dentist chair.. but Dr. Wongs numbing and sedation techniques were so good, I actually fell asleep in the chair!!!! Which is crazy for me, because before that Id been a shaking, crying mess, with teeth on the verge of root canals from all of the trauma. They were very sensitive. Dr. Wong used all these tools that the other dentist didnt use, like a tool to see where my midline should be, a gum laser thing that reshaped my gums to make them even, and lots of little things to ensure perfection. AND PERFECTION is what I got.. in 2 visits!! (Like the other one had promised, but Dr. Wong actually delivered.) Absolute perfection. I was starting to think that there was something wrong with ME.. like maybe I was too much of a perfectionist for my own good, and was only seeing the flaws in the other guys work.. but NO. If you pay top dollar for perfection, you should not settle for anything less. BY THE WAY.. Dr. Ellis Wong does NOT charge top dollar. His prices are ALOT less expensive than what I was quoted by other dentists.. including the one I gave all my money to. (who gave me only half my money back, by the way.. even though I kept none of his teeth and he didnt deliver what was promised.) But luckily, it covered the cost of Dr. Ellis Wong.. so I didnt lose too much more money. I wish I would have found him sooner.. But I am so so SO lucky I found him when I did.. otherwise, I probably would have lost my job, my modelling career, not to mention, MY TEETH! Thank you Dr. Wong for being brilliant, and to his nurses and staff for the same :)))

I've been coming to Dr. Wong for 14 years. I've recommended him to countless friends & colleagues; he really is the best dentist out there. The doctor cares about teeth & care generally. He is always knowledgeable on the latest news in the industry, gives you an honest opinion about treatment & has an excellent eye & hand in cosmetic artistry beyond practical dental care. Beyond building a highly reputable practice, Dr. Wong is friendly, hilarious & I truly look forward to heading to the office every 6 months. Lucy & Kristen at the front desk are so incredibly on top of it & organized that the entire process, from booking thru insurance & payment, is seamless... and they are warm & friendly to boot! The theme here at the office is that everyone CARES. Catherine does a very thorough yet painless job when cleaning my teeth & I'm so appreciative. Plus, it's always a funny ongoing conversation. I didn't realize what I had been missing in normal cleanings until finding this practice. I trust Dr. Wong with my teeth... and as I am a bit obsessed with my oral health & having a beautiful smile, it's a big deal.

The reviews don't lie he is truly the best. And he loves Hawai'I! Kidding, he has the best quality equipment, gas for pain, a gentle touch and superb technique. My bf comes here too and he has really taken care of his sensitive mouth. Office is clean and has nice ambiance. Reception can def tell u what u need to know as well. Dr Wong is always laughing, in a good way, not scary, in the room and for me that's unique. I'll stick with him until he retires!

This is an amazing dentist and his staff is fantastic. I have PTSD so dentist for me is a nightmare - but I feel completely safe here. From the moment you walk in the door you meet real ' family ' people who cares. This is a dentist who is decent, thorough and a person who knows his profession. His equipment is top notch, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the pricing is fair. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am so incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Wong and saved my teeth! He is not only a nice, compassionate person but also a perfectionist who will make sure your teeth are in the best possible shape. It took a long time to straighten out various problems caused by my previous dentist. I feel bad saying that about the previous dentist, because he was a nice person, but ultimately you have to have a dentist with the talent and ability to take good care of your teeth. Dr. Wong is simply the best!!! Also, the office itself is great: friendly, highly competent staff; peaceful, attractive waiting room (though you never have to wait long); and state-of-the-art equipment. It is really a 10-star dental office, and Dr. Wong is a 10-star dentist!!
