I am a legacy patient, starting from Dr. Bolen, through Drs. Keith and Lim, and now Dr. Potesta-Knoll. I am happy to have such a caring and competent dentist and dentist's office. I feel cared for on an individual basis (definitely NOT "just a number" at this practice!). When I call with questions or concerns, they are answered immediately. Dr. Potesta-Knoll is excellent at explaining the procedures and what to expect in after-care. Her staff is highly-qualified in each area, and everyone is very personable and friendly. Dare I say it is a pleasure to go to my dentist's office? :)

As always everyone at Dr. Potesta-Knoll's office were professional and accommodating. They make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience.

I recently had to have an implant done to replace one of my front upper teeth. Dr. Potesta did a great job of matching the shape and color of my adjacent teeth, so you can't tell at all which tooth is an implant...... Going to the dentist is definitely not on the list of my favorite things to do, but Dr. Potesta and her exceptional office staff make my trip to the dentist as much of a fun experience as a trip to the dentist can be......

In a nutshell, the things I like about this dentist (and her entire office) is that they have the experience, do a great job, and the price is reasonable. What more could we ask for? Oh, and the location is also right across the bridge from Marin county, so the trip to the office doesn't take that long if you live north.

I�m forever grateful to Dr. Potesta and her wonderful staff for giving me my soul smile back! I nearly lost both my front teeth as a kid. Over the years I developed a phobia and stopped going to the dentist. It took a loose front tooth for me to find a prosthodontist. Everyone was so kind, including Dr. Potesta, even when I was a hot, crying mess. Ultimately I needed implants. I was petrified, but felt such relief after the extraction, the years of shame and anxiety went away with my old teeth. Now I I have carefully designed, beautiful implants and a prideful smile thanks to Dr. Potesta and a goal to impress Karen when I go in for cleanings.

Dr. Potesta is awesome, the hygienists and the entire office staff are great - friendly, helpful, and professional. I went to a few dentists when I moved to SF before finding this office, and none were anywhere near as good. Always a pleasant experience, highly recommended if you need a dentist in the city.

Never mind going to the dentist when I am seeing Dr. Potesta and her staff. Never rushed - always satisfied with the visit. Highly recommend.

Dr. Potesta is fantastic. I have gone in to see her multiple times and I have always left her office more than happy and satisfied with her work. Her office is beautiful, has breath taking views and all her equipment is the latest in technology. It feels great to have a dentist who cares about her patients, her and her team are kind, caring, and they all go above and beyond my expectations!

Dr. Potesta-Knoll is awesome! She does amazing work, and her staff is professional, kind and attentive. I've had some bad experiences with dentists, and finally found one that I feel confident in and can trust.

I can't say enough positive things. So grateful to have a dentist who cares as much about actual tooth and gum health and preventative dentistry as she does about aesthetics (which is somehow rare these days.) I live out of town and am not in SF that often, when I am it is always on short notice, and even tho it is a busy office they are so accommodating and helpful with finding a way to make time for me. The whole staff is so nice and caring as well as completely professional. I feel lucky to have a dentist that I trust in an office that is pleasant to visit.

Great Job on my implant ! The office staff and both Dr's Knoll and Potesta are great! They took their time to explain everything in detail. Clear up front pricing for the whole process- no surprises ! I knew exactly what to expect from the first visit. Sue , Ada and the staff were great at working around my hectic and ever changing schedule and wrestling with my lame insurance plan. No pain other than the numbing process which was minimal. I hope I don't need to ever get another implant but if I do I'll return.

Dr. Potesta is very professional. She stays on top of her game in knowledge and practice, very efficient, punctual and a very good communicator. I also enjoy her respectful and professional treatment of all her staff, which creates a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, so needed in a dental practice. Not long ago I had a dental emergency situation and Dr. P. came in to see me outside of her usual practice day and spent a considerable time fixing my issue. With all procedures, Dr. Potesta pays close attention to both, the clinical/treatment aspect as well as the cosmetic and keeps on working until the best possible outcome is achieved. I am still in the middle of the "implant" process, but throughout, Dr. Potesta has been in communication with me as to the progress, procedures, prognosis and the "next step", but I can comfortably say at this stage that I am looking forward to an excellent outcome. My husband and I have been very happy as patients in Dr. Potesta's practice.

It's a great and beautiful office in SF. She agreed to see me even though I was 45 min late due to flight delay. The staff are very friendly, understanding and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Potesta-Knoll and her practice. My teeth have always been in very bad shape and I have had a few bad experiences with other dentists that made me reluctant to get treatment. Dr Potesta-Knoll initially saw me for an inflamed tooth. I was very impressed with her and the entire office. She outlined a treatment program for me and my wife pushed me to go forward with it. I had many crowns replaced and several implants, essentially a full mouth restoration. I didn't realize how self conscious I was about smiling or opening my mouth. I am so glad I had this work done!

Dr. Potesta-Knoll is extremely friendly and truly seems to care about her clientele. I am always impressed by courteous her entire staff is. The office also has an absolutely stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The prices seem to be fair for the procedures that I have had performed thus far. She also gave me a discount on my teeth whitening! I would highly recommend Dr. Potesta-Knoll for someone looking for a dentist in San Francisco.

Amazing experience. Always friendly, hospitable, great reminders via text and email. I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and even though I now live in the Haight aka on the other side if the city, I continue to come back here! Amazing service, fast, clean and thorough. Just this morning I had two cavities filled -- I didn't need numbing and was out in 30 minutes! Best dentist experience I've ever had. Will continue to come back. Thanks again for all that you do!
