Dr. Brad Hunt is an exceptional specialist. He helped me replace one of my missing molars with a state-of-the-art dental implant. I was so nervous and afraid to have any oral surgery, but he and his staff of dental professionals put me at ease and made me feel confident that I could do it, get it done and have my tooth replaced once again, so I will have a beautiful smile. I am recovering well and couldn't be happier. His assistants were comforting and warm. His office staff explained to me what my fees were, so I could have my insurance pay for a portion of the procedure and they even called all of my prescriptions into my favorite pharmacy!! I couldn't trust any other doctor to help me with my replacement options for a missing tooth; thanks so much to he and his team of wonderful people!!!

Dr. Hunt did an excellent job on my skin graft surgery. I was extremely nervous about any pain during the procedure and he made sure that I had the most pain medication possible to be comfortable. I was relaxed and pleasantly suprised about how easy the procedure went. My recovery was also excellent and I had little to no pain. His office is also brand new and very nice and clean. Dr. Hunt himself is very easygoing and laid back. He puts you at ease with his calm confidence. His hygenists are very nice and professional as well. Overall it was a good experience. If you have to get the skin graft procedure - I would highly recommend getting it done here by Dr. Hunt.

Going to this place is like going to a day spa. Brad has a nice touch, and keeps you inform with all procedures. The staff members are great and informative. I had a very positive experience. I even drove from Orange County to see Brad.

Dr. Hunt and his staff worked with me as a nervious nilly (panic attacks) regarding dental surgery. They were patient, caring and helped me every step of the way. They also worked out an affordable payment plan. Dr. Hunt is very gentle and wants his patients to be pain free. He does excellent work at affordable prices. I also give kudos to his staff who are always on top of getting the most that they can from my meager dental insurance. I will definitely be going back here again and highly recommend this wonderful practice to all.

Ummm....I'm not sure why my original review was removed. What, someone can't have a 5-star review without it being construed illegitimate? Or do I have to be on Yelp 24/7 leaving reviews for every single place I visit in order to have a valid opinion? I'll do Gamebebe C. a favor and review my gas station, toothbrush company, and water bottle company and hey! I'll even review Yelp! I'm a practical person and I see absolutely no point in leaving reviews for places that have 5394023892239 reviews already all saying the same thing. If there is a place I've visited that has very few reviews I'll review it so that people can have more reassurance or a better understanding of the place in question when deciding whether or not to visit it. I said it once and I will say it again. Dr. Hunt's practice is great and I had the best dental experience there that I've ever had in my short life. Everyone was very organized, the procedure was painless (save the shots to sedate my gums which stung a little) and my orthodontist was happy with the outcome of my fiberotomy. My braces are being removed in a few weeks and I will be returning for a "gummy" smile procedure. I will update my review then

I just had a difficult molar implant done by Dr. Hunt. I lost the tooth more than 10 years ago so there was a lot of bone loss, it was all the way in the back, and there was a nearby sinus nerve. My experience during surgery was very relaxing and comfortable. Equipment and technique seemed to be state-of-the-art. I've had other implants done previously so I feel I am qualified to do a comparison. My previous periodontist was just as good and as competent, and chair-side manner was just as nice. But they started increasing their fees and charging extra for the abutment, which they never did for my previous implants. I was hesitant to switch to a different one, but I am now glad I took the risk. The dental office of Torrey Hills Periodontal Group is so much more modern yet meditative -- it has the calmness and ambience of a Japanese spa. They delivered all the things that were important to me: They were professional and competent, friendly (others treat you like a number) and easy-going, and the fees were very fair and reasonable. No problems post-surgery, practically no pain. On the x-ray, the post looked perfectly aligned. I found out later that Dr.Hunt regularly goes to conferences, seminars, and meetings with local professional groups to do hands-on practice and keep abreast of the latest techniques and technical developments.

Dr. Hunt is a great periodontist who likes to concentrate on one patient at a time and really dedicates his expertise and time to you only. He is very friendly, gentle, and caring

A very good periodontist. My dentist back East screwed up my implant by adding too much adhesive to the crown. The result was chips of cement embedded and working their way out of my gum around the implant. At the time all I knew was that white bone like stuff was coming out of my gums and I was freaking out. Dr. Hunt was recommended by my dentist and I am sure glad I went. Dr. Hunt recognized the problem and fixed it. It wasn't fun but I haven't had a problem with my implant since. Subsequently I have my teeth cleaned and the implant examined once a year with Dr. Hunt. He knows what he is doing. He has a friendly staff and the wait is always 5 min or less.

I've gotten my implants on my lower left and am now starting the process on my lower right molars. It's been a very long process (all due to my budgetary concerns) and I've had some more time to get a better feel of their office/staff. I totally stand by my original review 100% and like I said previously, I really can't say enough great things about Torrey Hills Periodontal. I've been to Dr. Hunt's office many times since my original review and every visit I'm still amazed by the friendliness and competency of his front office personnel. On top of all that, Dr. Hunt is very kind and cares for your dental health - he truly has your best interest at heart. I really like my regular dentist too (who Dr. Hunt recommended to me since my original dentist was too far away) but I LOVE Dr. Hunt. I really wish I could just go to him for all my dental needs... (Or maybe I should be wishing for not needing to go to a dentist at all in the first place.)

Just finished gum/tooth grafting with Dr Hunt and Colleen. These appts are never fun but they were so soothing by giving me a headset to listen to music and explained the procedure thoroughly. I am thankfully to dental arts and Glenda who referred me to Dr Hunt. What a professional and very nice staff .

I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Hunt and his staff. The initial consultation was very helpful and he answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He was not pushy or rushed. Both procedures went well and I appreciated that he called me himself the following day to follow-up. Staff was friendly and professional. I had never had any dental procedures before this and was a little nervous, but staff was reassuring and I felt that Dr. Hunt was very competent. I now have the smile I hoped for- and have Dr. Hunt in part to thank!

Everything about this office is top notch. I was dreading a bone graft but because of Dr Hunts clear communication, calm demeanor and his expertise it was virtually uneventful which was a huge and pleasant surprise. I am not usually a fan of dentists but I actually like to go there. His office staff is exceptionally friendly and reassuring. Their communication and customer service skills are outstanding. Dr. Hunt and staff are such caring, warm people. Dr. Hunt is so gentle and calm. His demeanor is welcoming and reassuring. I've been a patient since his practice opened and I purposefully receive care beyond what my insurance will cover. I have my gums/teeth cleaned every six-eight weeks because it's important to me. I actually pay more for my hair stylist, nails, and car washes than I do on my teeth. His office is easy to make appointments, and adjustments when necessary. As my insurance companies change year to year, I've never seen a change in care or pocket book. In addition to the regular cleanings, Dr. Hunt gave me an implant. The process was smooth and uneventful... and painless! He called me at home to check in and make sure I wasn't have any problems or concerns over the course of the procedure(s). Dr. Hunt is a retired Navy Captain and his work ethic and bedside manner are unmatched. When it comes to decisions on what work there is to be done, Dr. Hunt is on the conservative side. He will never talk you into dental/periodontal work that is unnecessary or untimely. If he says it needs to be done, it needs to be done. If it needs to be watched, he'll watch it. I trust him 1000%. BTW, Christine does the cleanings and she's a hoot. I look forward to my time in her chair.

I suffer from dental anxiety. The thought of having gum grafts literally causes my blood pressure to rise. Dr. Hunt and his excellent team put me completely at ease. They went as slowly as I needed them to. The team is very friendly and the office is immaculate. In fact the first opinion I received said I needed much more extensive work. Dr Hunt did not think we needed to be nearly as aggressive saving me money and time, not to mention less intense recuperation needed. I highly recommend Dr. Hunt for your periodontal needs.

I recently had surgery done by Dr. Hunt. I have a long history of needing dental work, so no surprise I get anxiety when I go to get work done. Dr. Hunt and his team are outstanding, extremely professional, always available and very supportive regarding dental anxiety. They take their time explaining the process and work well with insurance companies to make the entire process smooth from start to finish! I would like to thank Dr. Hunt and his team, Kristie, Colleen, Nikki & Annette for all of their support and kindness! Hands down if you need any dental work, Dr. Hunt is the guy!!!
